book week

on the 21st of october we did a book week and we did a lot of fun stuff like making tin foil animals i made a spider it was really cool we also read the book war horse i am up to chapter 7 and the next day it was pet day i brought my puppy turbo and as i'm writing this it is the last day of book week and i'm dress up as the ladybug from james and the giant peach.here are some photos. 

heritage day

on the 18th of september my south african teacher told us about south africa and we did lots of stuff  like watching zulu dancing and learning a little a bit about a south african language and some of their food.we also made little shacks and found out that some south africans live in shacks and we ate food like peppermint caramel tart. here are some photos.

 this week there were 3 big events the first was the netball game and i wasn't there so i don't know what happened.the second  thing was when i was helping to make costumes for the lord of the rings film we were making i made the elf ears by putting paint and viverd on cardboard.the third thing was we did filmmaking were making a lord of the rings like film and im frodo and that it.

st John's first aid workshop

 

 Today we had a visitor from st john's in school and she taught us how to do first aid stuff like CPR and  
how to wrap bandages and make sure its tight enough. we also learn how to clean cuts here's a  photo

The escape room

   on thursday my and my class did an escape room. there were ten clues and each one had a number for the padlock. half a hour later we solved them and cracked the code then we had subway.

my snow day

      My weekend was the best i had my first snow day first i watched some movies with my sister we watched robin hood and little einsteins rocket's firebird rescue. After that we spent 3 hours playing in the snow. Then i had a shower and spent the rest of the afternoon on the computer.
